Morocco Meets Palm Beach

I am in Florida all this month and I am taking in everything  Florida Design. Check out this space by Sean Rush.

I have previously said on this blog that there is an old lady living inside of me. I want to use her as the excuse for loving this Palm Beach place. But the plain truth is that my 30 something self could move right in. Pfft, I'd be O.K living with the GGs here.

Accents

 

Everything is better with a bit of an accent on it-- colour, jewellery, texture, a bit of geometry, or something frivolous and impractical yet indispensable in making the visual pop. It doesn't matter whether we are talking room or outfit-- embellish it.

Michael Dawkins: A Purple Touch Designer

This New York and Miami design firm does cool steel sophistication so well. It's a very masculine look to be sure but I could very much move into any of these rooms. And do you see it? The designer loves a hint of purple in his work. His calling card?
