The Mad Cobbler

I love fashion but there comes a point when I love my neck more and I don't want to break it. Christian Dior shoes. I appreciate the artistry, the creativity, etc. but I pity the model that has to walk the entire length of a catwalk in  these.

Summer Outfits

It can't decide whether it's summer, fall or spring in Belgium. So one day I am boiling and sweating while showering, and the next day I need my leather jacket and scarf.  I am light on blogging these days because I have a lot of work and a lot more distractions. Speaking of work...I have to go off to Belize for work this week and I so wish I knew where to get those colourful, wide-leg trousers. Would come in so handy in Belize.

Pretty Eye-Catching in Beirut

Architectural Digest Germany

This is the Beirut home of banker Raya Raphael. I love those pearl-inlaid bookcases and that marble fountain above. I also love the name Raya which can mean Heaven, Friend,  a Pet-Name for a Queen or Big Flag depending on the country. I wonder what it means in Lebanon.

Summer Pretties

This is everything I wish was in my closet or jewellery box this summer. So pretty.

First Impressions

All these little vignettes  inspire me today. And, here are my first impressions when I looked at these pics:

1. I like Horchow's use of a mirror as a headboard.

2. No to all white disinfected spaces. Very French I guess.

3. Lovely vignette with orange, pink and wood tones from House and Home

4. The Aga is supreme and a country kitchen sometimes requires functional and stark spaces but this Aga could do with a little more dress up--- check out these.

5. Summer hydrangea  inspiration brought by Country Living UK.

6.That pink settee is delightful. I found it here. But it is available to buy here.
